The NAATI (National Accreditation Authority for Translators and Interpreters) is an Australian government agency, whose goal is to maintain fair and consistent standards for the English translation of official documents.
If you are in Australia and you are asked for a document that you possess only in Italian (degree, diploma, certificate, birth certificate, letter of reference) you need a translation in English. Not all translations are recognized by Australian institutions or by the Department of Immigration, for this you need a translation NAATI complete with official stamp.
The NAATI therefore serves to guarantee that the translation of your document conforms to the standards required, thus avoiding complications or unnecessary expense. The Australian Government recognizes the National Accreditation Authority for Translators and Interpreters as the only body officially recognized, so that every document translated into English is valid and recognized.
Why rely on a NAATI Translator ?
To ensure that the translation is done correctly. A translator NAATI is directly responsible, at a standard legal level, of the translation of your document therefore also of possible errors and consequences. This type of responsibility isn’t present in agencies that do not use translators NAATI, not only does it garantee for an excellent translation, but it is also keeps you at peace.
