General English

Who is the General English for?

The course of General English is suitable for those who want to learn or improve their English.

Our courses are directed to develop every area of your listening, reading, writing, grammar and vocabulary, with an emphasis on pronunciation. Not surprisingly, it’s an English course in Australia that provides 5 levels:

  • Beginner
  • Elementary
  • Pre-Intermediate
  • Intermediate
  • Upper-Intermediate
  • Advanced

Course Length

Each course goes from a minimum of 5 to a maximum of 50 weeks. The course duration depends on the goals of the student and the type of visa obtained to study in Australia (Working Holiday, Student, Tourist Visa).

Start of course and awards

Courses start every Monday and include 20 hours per week, to be chosen from the morning, afternoon and evening, according to the needs of work and study. After completing the course you will receive a certificate of English level and frequency of the lessons.

To get the certificate you must attend 80% of the classes. For students arrived in Australia with a student visa, this aspect is crucial to avoid a recall of the DIAC (Department of Immigration and Citizenship).

What level and school to choice?

We will help you understand what is the institution that suits you, depending on your budget, needs and availability with your schedules.

During the General English course, students have the opportunity not only to attend classes, but also to participate in extra courses, insights on English and Australian culture, city tours and group outings.

In some schools it is strictly forbidden to speak other languages outside of English (a great way to learn) and regularly all students are subjected to the English test, to evaluate improvements and then pass the level. All English schools provide: free wi-fi, computers, libraries, study halls, a kitchen area and comfortable chairs to relax.

Institutions with whom we work are located in the city center, so that for the students it’s all at your fingertips!
